My Heart is Mine Alone is a powerful play about Werther, a gay woman, who finds herself falling in love with Lotte, a closeted lesbian.

The play follows Werther’s heart-wrenching battle with substance abuse, and Lotte’s emotional struggle to come to terms with her own sexuality, expressing both the highlights and low points of the couple and their love story.

My Heart is Mine Alone conveys important social themes including the challenges that LGBTQ+ people still face today within themselves and in society.

This play is written, directed and performed by members of the LGBTQ community.
