DANCE TRIPLE BILL: All We Do / Emma is a Dancer / Remnants
29th May 2017 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The Groovement Project Dance Company / Emma Pendle / Kane John Mills
Age guidance: All ages
Running time: 45 mins (approx)
This dance triple will feature the following pieces for the price of one ticket:
The Groovement Project Dance Company
All We Do
A thought-provoking Contemporary Dance piece, exploring the question “What do you think it means to be human?”
Performed by The Groovement Project’s specialist Contemporary Company, the piece looks at life, relationships, conflict and emotions.
It will incorporate both technique and a grounded animalistic feel.
The aim is to create images for the audience from the dancers’ bodies and to challenge mindsets.
Emma is a Dancer
Emma is a dancer.
She is pretty good, but she will only tell you she is okay (she didn’t write this).
She has never made a piece of dance by herself before.
Not like this.
This is a pretty lonely experience.
Kane John Mills
Plymouth-born emerging dance/theatre artist Kane John Mills presents Remnants – a triple bill of short works exploring truth, dishonesty, perceptions, absence, expectations and reflections.
It aims to hopefully encourage empathy and perhaps provoke and challenge preconceptions that the audience and the wider public may have.
